knock sensor
Does the car need that in order to operate, or will it cause it to not run correctly? Will it at least be drivable until I can get one? Does anyone have one they can sell me? I need one by tomorrow. I'm desperate. Thanks for any help guys.

Some years it's different, but for MOST Hondas the story goes like this...
The cars that even HAVE a knock sensor at all, are the ones that are designed to use higher octane. Most Accords use regular so they don't have a knock sensor.
Then, the knock sensor's main purpose is to detect knocking so the ECU can pull back the spark timing. Without the protection of a knock sensor, you should make SURE you're using fuel with AT LEAST your minimum octane requirement.
If you have higher-than-stock compression ratio, or if you've advanced your spark timing more than stock; then you should be more careful with fuel choice until you get your knock sensor replaced.
