In my car, the kill switch is directly connected to the battery.

Check the rulebook wherever you are racing for any rules regarding this before you install it.

My guess is to layer his security so the car remains his? Maybe? You think?

Also, some racing organizations require this as a safety device.

I know IMSA required this, that is why my car has one. NHRA also requires this as well as many other organizations. it is a very common rule.

a kill switch is very important in emergencies. Most rulebooks require the switch to be within reach of the driver side window

Depends on the rules. they're not all the same. most that I've read, require it to be within reach of the driver and accessable from outside. for example, mine is where the sunroof buttons used to be on the left side of the steering wheel.

I think in drag racing, they allow it to be in the rear.

actually it has to be within reach of track worker if the car was to roll over or be impacted, if you were to be knocked out you want it to be within reach of an outside person

you wouldn't want i on the back of the car because if impacted from the rear the car would be likely not to run anymore

you can also wire it to the batt, starter or the clutch starter swich if it is a 5m. It is just a matter of finding the right wires and knowing what they do. I would suggest going to your local honda dealership and asking if you could look at the electrical schematics for your car. You might even be able to convince a friendly tech to give you some input.

you can get the fuel pump wire from the fuse box on the drivers side, i think it's black/yellow but check a wiring diagram to be sure
