It real pretty and all, but why in the world did you mount that ignition box like that? Trying to make it double as a heat sheild? Thats not such a good idea. It should stay as cool as possible.

Re: just a little update.... (Wont be beat)
well it was the only way i could bolt it down and still adjust the rev limiter. i'll probably put a heat shield in front of it eventually. how do you suggest i mount it? i don't want to mount it on the firewall to reduce messy wiring...
edit--pix of the whole engine will come later...

Re: just a little update.... (WhoNeedsVtec)
yeah i need to take off all that blue crap . i had it on back in the days...
color is sage green.. running about 5.8 lbs (.4 bars)... i'm not going on the dyno or going to the track until i get my fuel setup completed... no internal work at all... my engine is very healthy right now ... compression of 190, 190, 190, 195.

Re: just a little update.... (accordfreak)
what do you have in mind for fuel? do you have aftermarket clutch and flywheel?
i think if you straightned out the filter instead of having it angled to the back of the engine bay like that, it might be more productive, this way you wont get 'hotter' air
edit spelling owns me

Re: just a little update.... (WhoNeedsVtec)
550cc injectors, hondata, aem fuel rail, walbro pump, and earl's fittings for the lines... too expensive... need money....
I'm on the original clutch and flywheel... but will definitely upgrade later..
edit: the filter was actually below my starter at first... then i recently moved it there..

Re: just a little update.... (WhoNeedsVtec)
there was no room at all..... and that was the only place open for a filter.. accord engines are so freakin cramped...sucks.. yeah i'll probably upgrade the clutch after the fuel... i think i have enough self control to not up the boost that much hehe.
oh and everything is by drag... prototype kit..

regarding the f-max kit how come it looks so much cleaner of in install then the drag? taken from niedejb ( hope you dont mind buddy took me forver to remember your name...hehe) look at yours vs this, does it look cleaner or is it just me. (not knocking your install at all). i wish it was a whole engine bay pic but couldnt find any on his page.

Re: just a little update.... (WhoNeedsVtec)
Ignition brain: put it in the car. I have a HI-6 too which has been in the engine compt for years now, but if i could do it all over again i'd put it in the car. I probobly will when i drop in the new engine and rewire the harness.
this is where mine is right now
yah my ***** ugly right now.. haha whatever move on.
Otherwise: looking good homie.
far as the engine dressup crap goes.. who cares just get it rolling use polka dot for all you care.

Re: just a little update.... (WhoNeedsVtec)

i think my engine looks messy because of the picture... here's old pic but better quality....

Re: just a little update.... (accordfreak)
Freak, silicone around the intercooler piping and then you can put the ign. stuff on the battery plate... look at my pics again, i have my boost cntrl and ignition stuff there, no water problems.
