Actually it goes on the pass side for functionality. But if you want it to look like the JDM bumper poles (as opposed to working like one), then yes, put it on the drivers side. Below is a pic of one installed on a JDM CB7 Bumper

It's a little pole that allows you to find your car when it's parked.

I believe some light up, some you change the color of the tip, etc

Sorry to burst your bubble but it's actually to help aide in parking in the uber tiny spaces in Japan. That is why they locate it on the pass side so that while parking, you can avoid scraping up your ride.

Hence why they are freaking retarded in the states, the land of the Excursion

Simply meaning the size of parking spaces is double of those in Japan

Just so everyone knows.... I know that it goes on the drivers side of the bumper, I know what it is for, as for why.... because I like original true JDM goodies on my CB. All I really was asking is the EXACT location....... I.E. if there is a specific measurement from the headlight to the corner of the bumper. So far I've been told that there might be a cutout location on the underside of the bumper. (Thank you SuShiBoiiii) Also thanks to 213374U for the pic! That will help out a great deal.

yeah we get a little extra cocky after a good clay bar and polish followed by a few coats of wax haha

with my current pristine paint job, a clay bar would be a waste of time. Oh wait... forgot my paint is the faded dull crap that it is... I think I'm going for the sleeper thing. Maybe I'll get around to paint someday. I'm just working on my collection of jdm stuff, then I'll rebuild the engine with some groovy parts of the go fast(er) type.
