Issues with my auto f20b racecar
Hey everyone, I have 3 racecars that are all f20b swapped. These are 95 models. 2 are 5spd and one is autO. My auto car is giving me fits. I had 3 p28 ecu's chipped to run these but all were done as manual.
My question is can I bypass the tranny so the driver can manually shift it and disable the tranny control? Obviously it will not shift with a manual p28 and even if I ha an auto p28 it would not communicate with the tcu since t does not support it.
Someone mentioned to jump or disable the lockout switch. (the two wire sensor on the back pass side of tranny)
We triedthe p28 in it and tried to manual shift but would stay in 3rd and 4th.
Btw these cars run on a 3/8 mile round track and 2nd gear is where I need to be.
How do I bypass it to be able to manually shift?
