If you do the right stuff to the F22... that thing will be really fast...
With H22... you start off at near 200hp.... so it's really up to you!

Well what exactly is wrong with it? Lots of times you can rebuilt the broken components on a motor for less than a complete new swap.

vtec is not a option for me. i must have vtec i love the feeling of that vtec kicking in at 3500.so the g23 swap is not for me.(f22 bottom h23 head) the head is like completely blown. at first it was jus a little rod knock then it got louder when i wasnt even horsing the car.then the knocking got extremely loud as i got blocks away from my house and the motor ceased. i didnt even notice that it was a hole the size of a building block in the head until my friend pointed it out. even now it still cranks but it wont stay on....my friend says its because of the lost compression because of the hole in the block so.....
i guess that motor is just done

oh, it really is screwed then. I've heard the F22 is hard to get parts for since it's not USDM.

I love VTEC too! I deffinitely wouldn't want to downgrade to a non-VTEC from just having a VTEC.

i think i may jus put the h22 in there because there arent too many options with this car im really a 4th gen accord person but this car jus happen to come across me for free the only thing is that 5th gen accord swaps are very obvious and 4th gen accords are real sleepers.my brother has a 92 accord ex with a h22 and its a major sleeper but like i said i wanna be different so idk...

h22a is better than the f20b cause the f20b has to rev higher to make the
power of the h22a noobs

Yes this argument could go on for days. Obviously it's been blasted out of the water plenty of times. In the end, it's up to person who's doing the swap. I guess if he's trying to save money go for the H. Opinions are just what they are, opinions. The way i see it, your going to get a lot more presentation out of opening a hood to find an F20b. I'm just a JDM junkie and as a fellow accord owner, i would perfer to see the f20b at the show, on the street, or at the track.

Calm down, that's no way to start things off.

As to what motor
F20B
H22A
H23
f22b1 or f22b2 turbo'd

All of those are good power gains.

There's nothing wrong with not having vtec.

As to the 4th gen comment, only 1 year separates the two chief. And there's quite a few 80s hondas running around so cool it.
