hey guys, is this a 4th gen accord only issue?
<~~ 5th gen planning a h-series swap someday (maybe tranny first and motor later).

5th gens are fine, they came that way from the factory, in japan.
93acclude,
that 93SE coupe that my friend did was done using a 95 prelude mount, he still had to move the bracket.

Please post if you have a better solution for us. To explain my earlier post of "the though has never Occured", When I do a swap, I try to keep it as "factory" as it gets. That way a customer doesn't have to guess on what he has down the road.

Her are some more pics:
As you can see it bolts up just fine and the engine sits straight.

yeah, its a 95 prelude 5spd mount. I was having problems with my scanner, but a friend of mine took some pics with his digital camera.
If you ever do another swap like this try using that mount and see how it works.

The mount I have is a 95 prelude and It will work if I force it. The mount in this car (92 Accord) looks like it comes off of the frame rail at a slightly different angle and with it in place, the tranny "appears" to be sitting lower (about 3/4") than the others. However, this car might not be as straight as it should be. I will have to try it on another to be sure. My concern is now the level of the engine. wether or not the engine is "higher" on the driver side is the issue I see.

Very interesting...I do not recall having to force mine. It is kind of hard to tell from the pics but there is no visible declination to my engine. If you have pics, I would like to see them.

This car I am working on has been hit, so Alignment may be a lot easier on a different car.
