How do I pull the engine code on my CL

I have an Acura 2.3 CL... which has the F23A1 Accord motor. I knew how to pull the engine code on my h22 accord but on this car I can't figure it out. I don't want to pay a dealer to pull it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

if you have a generic obd2 scan tool you can read the code by plugging it in to the 16p connector located next to your phone jack slot. or a honda PGM tester will work (dealer only). or short the SCS connector its a 2p connector located under the passenger side dash

how to get OBD2 honda codes with a paperclip. I know it works on 98-up 4 and 6 cyl accords, and it worked on my 99 Odyssey, so it WILL work on your 2.3CL...
