Help: Installing S2000 Steering Wheel into a 5th Gen
I just acquired an AP1 S2k Steering Wheel and I want to know a few more things before I start the install it. I will be installing it into a 1996 Accord LX.
1. Will I need to rewire the Cruise Control or is it a direct plug in?
2. If the Cruise Control needs to be rewired, can someone post directions on how to do it?
3. Will I need to rewire the horn or is it a direct plug in?
4. If the horn needs to be rewired, can someone post directions on how to do it?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks SuShiBoiii!!! I got the write up for a 97+ Preludes. It tells how to even rewire the cruise, but I dont know if that would be the same as ours.

I just did the install on my Accord. The directions are good except for a few things:
1. I'm unsure about the Cruise Control. I didnt have too much time, so I didnt rewire it to see if it works.
2. The direction that the cable reel sits with the original steering wheel, will not work with ours. I marked off where it is when the original wheel was removed and I moved it about 45 degrees clock wise. I know you are not suppose to move the cable reel, but that was the only way you would be able to install the wheel. The only issue I have now, is there is a scraping sound everytime I turn the wheel. Im trying to diagnose that problem and fix it.
I hope this helps, and if anyone can add to this, It would be greatly appriciated.
