Check the tranmission codes. Hope you didn't short out the VSS.

The Curse Button that is located on the left side of the steering wheel. It has Two Lights in the button, a upper and a lower. The upper light shows you if cruse is on/off, the lower for the word cruse.I was testing the lower because, both upper and lower light when't out. So i was seeing if there was electricity getting to it..

Thanks

With a Volt meter that test AC, DC, OHMS, DCA. I gust drove my car and backing up works fine and first and second gear are good but D3 is slower and D4 feels like im driving a stick. I guned it and it slowly and i mean slowly accelated.

Thanks

Sorry to say but the J-series have had bad problems with their auto trannies. If you don't have too many miles on your car, try calling American Honda Customer Service to get a goodwill warranty on your tranny. A blinking D4 is a good sign that your tranny is dying.

Go to Autozone, and get the transmission codes. Then come back and post them.

If the code gives you the code corresponding to the VSS, yes it is. But until you check the light and figure out the code, we will not know.

O and i fix the Flashing D4, The cruse was also out so looked for a fuse and there was one, but on the same fuse was the ECU... so i replaced the fuse and it works like brand new trany. I got the codes after i had replaced old fuse, but i had all ready bean to autozone and there Computer had said the same thing. The codes are from Advance Auto. And they turned my engine light off, so if it is soming in the engine i'll know. I'm taking it to Honda dealer on thursday.

Thanks
