Of those people who wish to go that route (of which there's nothing wrong with it), many are going with LED Conversions, since no one manufactures either T4 and 74 bulbs in anything other that white. I have used this guy;

I utilized his installation services to great success.

Had to do some soldering (fitting LED's to bulb sockets), but it worked out just fine and looks great.

thanks for the link, the guy isnt offering anything for my year, but thats cool i seen the misc section, i did find 74's that wouldnt need any sod, but what number do T4 bulbs merit? isnt it 168?
i know about poppping the cluster out, but what about the weather control area, is there anywhere that gives directions or best way to do it?

You can sometimes infer the lamp requirements for your dash by going to the Honda Parts Catalog and checking the parts detail listings. For Instance:
'91 DX Gauge Cluster Detail:
http://www.hondaautomotivepart...SO%29
---Or you can just yse this:
1991 HONDA Accord
Interior Lamps:
*Ash tray #74
*Glove box #DE3021
*Dome light #DE3022
*Step/Courtesy light #906 #DE3423
***Instrument-general #168 #194 #74
*Hi-beam indicator #74
*Seat belt indicator #74
*Brake warning #74
*Directional signal indicator #74
If you can find LED equivilents, you'll get the colors you want.
On the Festoon style bulbs, measure them b4 you order them. I ran into some length problems.

Wide angle (100 degree) (not radial) LED's will work fine. The only place you need a side emitting LED is in things much like the Heater control where they use a light manifold to distribute light to the button indicators.
The Festoon type lamps all emit out the sides, so they're ok for their intended applications.

I used an LED conversion from the aforementioned site to convert my dash, including the clock, to blue.

Yep, it's a $1.47 bulb available at the dealer.

Here is Honda's Engineering drawing from their parts book. If you look it over carefully, it may give you an idea what you have to get out of the way to get to everything.
Traditionally, Honda likes to hide fasteners, and they do so behind A/C outlets, Ashtrays and dash switches.
Consider yourself lucky. On the 5th Gens, you've got to remove 3/4 of the console just to get to the dash trim plate screws above the radio.
