Headers

Re: Headers
No, but:
All my research shows that most headers (except for the exotic ones, like Bisi's) are basically the same as a stock A4/A6 header as far as performance goes.
There's some discussion about whether the A4 or A6 header is better, the A4 is tubular and the A6 is cast, I don't think its ever been proven one way or the other. I think the A4 header is significantly lighter and maybe looks cooler, but both will work fine.
So if you have a DX or LX you could gain some easy horsepower by getting a A4/A6 header with 2-1 matching downpipe. It should be cheaper and Honda's OE build quality is normally far superior to aftermarket. One example of this - Honda uses a double-walled pipe on their downpipes to insulate them and keep the exhaust stream hot, I doubt any aftermarket downpipe does this.
