h22 euro R?
Guys we need some help. My friend bought a h22 engine he told me thats its the Euro R H22. Here are the pics. Is this the real deal? Thanks in advance and gobless

The engine code for the Euro R is h22a7 (I think.) The h22a is jdm, in which case the red top would indicate an h22 type s from the jdm 97-01 lude. It looks a lot older than 97 to be honest though. Does that say bb4 or bb6 on the ECU?

i'm willing to bet money that when you go to change the oil on that thing, more water than oil is going to come out ... that thing looks like it's been sitting out in the rain for a good while

No prob. As long as he didnt pay the Euro R price tag he should be happy with the motor. Assuming the place he bought it from gave him a solid h22a (not likely)

It depends on the supplier, if they were ethical then that would be true. It looks like that motor is BEAT. Hopefully its still re-buidible
