Default F23a1 Head design question

I have been reading the difference a wedge and hemi combustion chamber in a automobile encylopedia. They stated that DOHC engines are hemi while most SOHC is wedge. This is an older encylopedia so i was wondering on the F23a1 if the design is wedge or hemi?

i thought it was wedge.

but then again, a lot of new cars use a hemispherical combustion chamber.

the "wedge" chamber is used to describe what's common in american pushrod V8's and other similar pushrod motors.

"hemi," in general refers to the litteraly hemispherical shape of the Dodge Hemi V8 chamber.

modern 4-valve/cyl, crossflow cylinder heads have a pent-roof design. this is the case for every honda i've ever seen appart.

^^this is actually an F23A1 head. you can see the triangular shape of the two sets of valves, although there is plenty of 'blending'
