F22B DOCH build
Hey guys,
So here it goes. This is going to be my first build and full engine swap. My questions are mostly about wiring issues. I know the p39 is best option for the ecu but if i run p14 i need a knock sensor correct? And going from obd2 to 1 could i just use the wiring harness from a 95 accord thats obd1 to go in my 96? That is mostly to cover the external coild distributor and i can get a complete harness for like 30 bucks. Also i read about possiblu a crank sensor. Anyone that can point me in right direction would be much appreciated! I am new to the site so my apologies.

Re: F22B DOCH build
p39 for first generation of f22b dohc
p5l for second generation of f22b dohc
best way is f22b dohc from second generation (5gen prelude jdm or australian f22z6) + p30 + hondata + turbo + forged pistons or cheapest piston p0e from f18b jdm (comp ratio is ~ 11)

Re: F22B DOCH build
Thanx man. I def appreciate the info. I had heard you could rewire distributor but was sure how. And id assume also that the timing kits ive seen for z6 version will fit head i have. Im using head/tb/intake mani/injectors all f22b. Bottom end f22a6 and exhaust. Gonna be a winter build
