hey..well i posted this question under the "94 accord ex swap" topic, but i dont think anyone saw it...hehe. anyways they were talking about getting an "auto" h22, and i was wondering if that meant that you have to get a different engine for either an automatic or a manual transmission. cuz, i have an auto, and i planned on getting my h22, and then converting it to a stick later. so can i do that?

on a side note..the person was saying something about the h23 being the "best" engine. (but hard to find) is that accurate?

 

Need a different ECU, and I don't know if the tranny and engine would bolt up together, it should.

 

soo..do u think i should get the engine first? or the trannie first? or do i just need save up hella long and get both at the same time?

 

You should be able to get a packaged deal, that's what I would do anyways.

 

what would come in a packaged deal? like the whole engine..mounts..ect..AND a manual tranny?

 

Tranny, engine, ecu, yadda yadda yadda, they should list all of what you're getting to go along w/ it. Also, probably a guarantee that says the engine will start.
