engine noises
i had my 94 Accord Lx belts replaced about 5 weeks ago because the mileage was 144k+. the new belts worked fine, but now for the past 2 weeks or so, they squeak pretty bad. it always does it when i first start the car up, but if it's wet out, it oes it non stop when the engine RPMs aren't above around 3k. is there some spray for this or do i need some kind of greese?
They have probably stretched. Check and readjust. I had 100k miles on my original belts and like you I figured that was long enough. Damb NAPA belts made noise (only right after cold startup, then would be quiet), even adjusted to the correct tension. Should have gotten Honda belts for it. I never even had to adjust the Honda belts. Good luck
