Default engine idle RPM = 1500

my accord 2001 2.3L has engine idle(N) RPM = 1500, is it normal?

i usually got 900 until i changed my timebelt - -

but when i switch to (R), it became 900.

has anybody checked the timing to be sure the new belt isn't a tooth off?

if the problem happened right away after the T-belt job was done at the mechanic, I really think it would be good to contact them and give them a chance to take care of you.
You might want to snoop around under the hood and check for a loose vacum line, or electrical connector.
