Default Electrical Problem

So Yesterday i decided i was going to go get a few 12v LED strips and put them in my car. The way i was going to wire them was through the cig lighter because it has a light that turns on when my headlights turn on so i was wiring it and everything was going good, I had everything wired up, so i started to put my center console back together and when i got done i tested them again to see they were working, I then tried to wire them to a switch that is used for my fog lights, which was getting power from the radio wiring harness, had no success. Now my dashlights dont work, fog lights dont work radio doesnt work, cig lighter light doesnt work, and the lights that light the a/c and heat and all those **** doesnt work. I already tried replacing the fuse for the interior lighting, and the cigarette lighter fuse. Im not sure what to do next.

Uh, what?
Sounds like you did some funky Lucas-esque wiring.

If you were going to use the cigarette lighter light(dash lighting) circuit why not just finish the circuit by completing the circuit and grounding it to the car chassis?

Currently you have a switched/dimable power source feeding the LEDs, and then you completed the circuit by wiring it again to a different hot.(?)

Undo your wiring and pray that the fog light backfeed did not kill the radio.

Standard electrical load is;
power source > fuse > switch> device > ground

What you have done is;
Power source > fuse > switch> original device(cig light) > LED > fog light switch(back fed) > fuse(back fed) >power source.

I'm trying to understand why you wired your LEDs to two different switched power sources.

Remove what you have done and post what you want to do and how you want it to be activated.

I removed the LEDs as soon as everything start going wrong, but my dashlights and stuff still wont work. Should I get a new wiring harness for the radio, plus a whole new cigarette lighter, then just take the time and get power straight from the batter for the LEDs? and I do want a switch for the LEDs.

Have you checked all your fuses?
Doubtful you damaged the wire harness.

All fuses under the hood are good, only fuse on the interior fuse box that is blown is the radio motor antenna one.
