Do iT yourself short shifter mod *done*
hey i just did a do it yourself project i found on another .com.

if you have already seen\done this then but it was real easy and i highly recommend doing it. any questions, please ask.

i got the three dies special ordered from local hardware store and they were about 5 bucs a piece and the die holder with the handles (t bar) was 9 bucs.

K Thanks to beach accord for IMing me and giving me more info on this... I went ahead today and shortened my shifter too. God I think i'm addicted to high speed cutting with a Dremel now... who would've guessed spinning at 35,000 RPM can do so much for you? =P OK the only problem I ran into was unable to find the Dies measured with metric system. So now the thread on my shifter is kind of messed up, but I'm going to look around and fix it later.
