What are the engine differences between the DX and EX models? Does it make a difference if it's 90-91 and 92-93 model? I have a 92 DX and I can get full access to a 90-91 EX model (not sure on the year, but will go see it this weekend).

 

Here we go....

None of the DX models have a rear swaybar. SE, EX, and LX have both front and rear. All DX bumpers are black. DX's come with power nothing. Top SE models have CD players, passanger side airbags, alarm, leather seats, drivers power seat, and the Canandian ones have daytime driving lights. 90-91 have different bumper, parking and rear lights than the 92-93 models. 90-91 DX/LX have 125 hp and SE/EX have 130 hp. 92-93 DX/LX have 125 hp and SE/EX have 140 hp do to dual intake runners and an upgraded 4-2-1 exhaust manifold. 90-91 alloy rims are slightly different. DX's have 14 inch wheels. Some had internal coil while others have external, I'm not sure which had which. 92-93 SE/EX models had a larger, lower front air damn. Each year came in more colors. They also came in with different mufflers. Some had one tip, others two functional, others had two, but only one was functional. I cant think of anything else now.

 

does the stock front sway bar help?? ive heard the aftermarket ones cause understeer, or oversteer, whichever one. i have a Dx h22, and was wondering if i should look into a stock front sway bar. i am definitely getting the stock rear

 

Get an aftermarket rear bar. The stock front is fine.
