You can do everything over the internet. so it should only take 15 minutes of your time. But first I would confront the mechanic shop. http://www.labbb.org

ok thanks...i'll see when i have time to go over there today, im at work rite now and cant leave till 6, thats when the place closes. the only thing i am pissed about is the price of the labor, because it is almost as muh as the parts...i just think thats bullshit. I could have took it to my friends place and he said labor would have been free. So yea...gotta think long and hard for while....thanks for everything.

According to that sheet, all u needed was a new gas cap and a tune up, which should be no more than 200 bucks no matter where you go, go back and ask for a full refund, you may even be able to report them to the appropriate government authority, they should lose their license for being able to do smog tests.

Ok first of all we (here where i am have no smog testing) but At the shop we do the repairs that are needed. it is a law that he can get up to twice as much for the parts but he has to be able to show reason also. His labor was way out unless he was counting the whole time the car was in the shop. BBB will look into what you report.(thats about all too). but look into calling your local news station to see if they can look at this recept .Tell them you have and help others not get screwed by this guy. I bet you will see results. maybe even some money return or a free lawer may take up the case by seeing that report. Try it. from what i seen here its worth that.

Whats the name of the shop?
And man I could have done all that work for you. My 91 EX was worse, and all it needed was a oil change, spark plugs and a new cat. Maximum of $120-130 dollars.
