cv causing problem?
i just came back from college and after bout 200miles i hear my cvs clicking...but only once in awhile...the question is, i am going to drop my car with skunk2 coilovers and getting some rims..should i still go ahead and drop it? it pisses me off cause ive been saving for the drop and rims and this better not set me back more...thanks
I generally put maintence items ahead of add-ons. It has worked well for me.

most auto stores will charge around 70 bucks for a new rebuilt axle shaft.
70 x 2 = 140
install = FREE (DIY)
Figure around $140-150 for both.

tis easy.. 140 bucks sounds right, + the impact tool (u can get that with a deposit at autozone or advanced i think)
If you have a compressor than get the impact gun. If not, use a LONG *** breaker bar.
Last time I had to change CVs I needed a breaker bar. About a 5.5 foot bar with my buddy jumping on it worked great for the nut.
Yeah. Thats typically what is needed.
