Default Cooling Fan and AC Problem

My car has recently been getting hot and I noticed the cooling fan wasn't turning on but if I gave it a little nudge it would kind of go. I checked the relay and it was OK. The radiator has a tiny bit of fluid coming out of the top but it doesn't seem like enough to worry about. Could my fan be out or is it something else? My Accord has 224,000 miles on it and the radiator and cooling fan are original. I didn't think the cooling fan went out. Could it be the bearings in the cooling fan?
Please help!!

what you are describing is tell-tale bad fan motor. when a fan is not spinning, a mechanic will tap it like you have to see if it will spin. when it does, you know it's the fan motor going bad, and not a bad fan switch, or wiring or relay.

i would encourage you to check the rest of your coolant system while you're working on it. hose condition/damage, coolant condition and level, rad. cap... good oppertunity to get it all in shape.

Thanks for the info. I thought those fans lasted forever. I'll pick one up tomorrow and go through everything else at the same time.
