Check engine light
You can read the code for free; at the top of the passenger side kick panel there is a BLUE 2 pin connector; jumper that with a wire and turn on the key to get the 'flash' code.

Hi My 94 accord Lx light is also on. Im aware of how you can check it yourself by jump wiring the ecu unit. But I tried that it came up with a code 14 or 15 which is the idle air control valve or 15 being a ignition problem ( which it could be my ignition coil). I took it to a mechanic and had the idle air control valve replaced with a junk yard part. But the mechanic said he couldnt get the light off. The mechanic said put injector cleaner in the car because of it sitting for awhile and it sould take the light off. I was wondering where can I take the car to get the cars code pulled proffessionally because I took it to autozone and they said they wont do it on a 94 accord. Has anybody tried NAPA before.
