Car wont start please help
I have a 91 accord and i was driving it the other day and it died right after i hit the rev limiter, and hasn't started yet. I put a new timing belt distributor main realy, and still nothing. It has a spark and the fuel pressure is good i have no idea what is wrong it just turns over. If anyone has any suggestions i would really appreciate it thanks.

Hows compression? You need fuel, spark, and compression to make an engine run. Try bump-starting it (put the key to ON, put it in 1st, hold the clutch in, have somebody push the car, slowly let off the clutch) and see if it starts.

were any of your spark plugs bent or damaged? kinda sounds like a bent valve and you're loosing compression on probably 2 or more cylinders. most 4cyl honda engines will start and run on 3 i've noticed (hehe). the best and next step would be to go and barrow/buy a compression tester. very easy to use, accurate, and may lead you in the right direction towards solving your problem. if you are truly getting enough fuel and sufficient spark, i'd definitely check compression.

i did the compression test and all the cylinders were about 130. So i looked at the timing and what happened was the belt slipped about three teeth and thats why it wouldnt start. I put the belt back on where it was supposed to be and it fired right up. Thanks for all the suggestions.
