car does nothing
I replaced at bad voltage regulator in my altenator and there was a plug that goes in the side , a green one, I cranked up and drove it to see my aunt, first bump in the road, the car dies, i coast to a stop, it wont even click, Ive tested voltage and fuses and everything says its fine, there was a little black carbon spot where the green plug came loose but the car died immediately. there seems to be no reason for the car not to start
thanks wendy

Re: car does nothing (winniepooh)
Did you get the o-ring connection on the back of the alternator on tight? It really needs to be secure for a good connection. ??????? Possibly a reason
