Helms is good, you can pick up some used one for cheap in ebay.
I'd say buy it if you are down to do the dirty dirty work,
do you have tools to get the stuff out and in?
are you willing to spend the wrench time?
you willing to call and get parts?

I spent $16 on a Haynes repair manual for my car. Worth every penny. It tells you so much. You could even take apart your engine piece by piece, and be able to put it back together if you wanted to.

i like having the helms and haynes.

If you get just one, then get the Helms (OEM) because the instructions are much more detailed as are the diagrams/drawings. But there are usefull bits of info in the Chilton/Haynes such as how to do certain procedures without specialty Honda-Technician tools. I have both and I switch back and forth.

Spend the money on the Helms. With it you can tear down the car (motor, suspension, interior, everything) to every last nut and bolt and put it back together. If you like cars, even if you don't like working on cars... you just start flipping through the pages and find you just wanna go out there and start racheting away. I have the 4th gen Accord Helms and 5th gen Prelude Helms. They're amazing.
Edit: Good tip: Keep the Helms in the bathroom.
