blinkers in corner lights?
ive noticed that some 4th and 5th gen accords out there have lights in the corner lenses that blink with the turn signals. Most of them are completely stock, can anyone enlighten me about this?

i dont know about 5th gen, but a 4th gen has 2 bulbs outside of the headlight . the inner is a marker the outer is the blinker that works opposite the bumper.

90 -95s have two bulbs in each corner. one bulb is just a parking light. it comes on when you turn the lights on. the other, is a parking light and turn signal (the one closest to the rear.
96-97s are different, due to the longer bumper signal lens. honda decided to make both of those bulbs in the corner, parking lights. so they don't blink.
if you have a 96-97, and you want to make them blink, cut the wires to the bulbs, and tape them off very well, to prevent water intrusion. then splice into the bumper light wires one hot, one ground, and wire it to the corner bulbs. BE VERY CAREFUL about the wires, touching the wrong ones together can cause you to burn out the ICU, which i know from experience. an ICU is $230+

Re: blinkers in corner lights? (lightningd)
ok, its not something that is interconnected. i have a 92 EX. THe way it works is, that each corner has 2 bulbs. When parking lights are NOT on, the bumper light and ONE corner bulb blink at the SAME time. when parking lights are one, both corner bulbs are on, but when you turn the blinker on, ONE corner bulb and the bumper light blink OPPOSITE of each other.
hope this clears things up.
