I need to know a good camber kit for the rear of a 95 Accord V6. I see there are some that are just the kits you put in and some offer the entire control arm or what have you. Im not looking to break the bank but would like something decent that will do the job to fix about a 2.5-3 degree negative camber.

you can either jus get a couple washers and take the 2 bolts that hold hte control arm on and put the washers in, ususally you can only fit like 3 or so, depending on the width of them. thats what i did and it only cost me like 50 cents at any Lowe's, Home Depot, or any hardware store. Also you could buy a longer bolt of the same size as the Honda one and put however many washers you want in there to correct it enough.

depends on how much camber is needing to be corrected. but yes that will work

the amount of washers are what will adjust the amount necessary, isnt that correct?

correct but it isnt exact. its not a washer per degree. so if you are dropped 3 1/2" and have 6 degrees of camber to correct you will want to do a rear camber kit.

one of my accords is sitting on a drop that low, and **** a camber kit, i drive that bitch maybe 1000 miles a year, lol

My 19's wouldnt clear the rear fender if i had a camber kit back there

my set of 18 inch tires and wheels are the biggest i went, here in NJ the roads suck...

same here in Oregon, but i have the luxury of trailering the car everywhere

trailering, man, ****, i own a toyota supra also and that is the only car of mine that can seat that luxury...****, my accords take the abuse

if you really think about it, the back of a car doesnt have enough weight to worry about ur tires wearing down. If you correct the camber to where its alot straighter but not positively cambered, you wont have any problems. It takes 100 times longer for rear tires to wear down like front ones because there is alot more weight to worry about in the front. I put (3) 1/8" washers on my Accord and my wheels are not perfectly straight, but its ALOT better than what it was before i did it.

thats a good point, the weight ratio in comparison to the front is a lot less, but i guess to play devils advocate and sound ****, to not have the tires wear unevenly at all, you think that the washer trick really works? (this question isnt my opinion and i totally agree with your previous post but im asking for those who dont want to)

if you have more than 3 degrees yur really dropped, never seen or heard of 6 degrees, if you got it post a pic. I've worked on hondas since 1990.

a rear kit shouldn't cost more than 50 bucks, and you can do it right!! and not do a redneck job and use washers. unless you like to buy tires all the time. don't forget to get the suspension aligned at the tire shop.
