the part should only cost like $15 if you buy it yourself--I'm guessing labor would put you around maybe $100 for the one side.

If you do it yourself i reccomend doing the inner and outer its just take the inner off first then do the outer that way u can do it with out taking off the outer joint because ts pretty hard to get the outer joint back on correctly if u dont know what r u doing.

Are you hearing any clicking yet?

If so, it would just be better to get a new axle.

If not, replacing the boot would be easiest, but get at it quick before you DO need new joints

Did both of you get your work done at a Honda dealership? those prices sound low unles you did a pep boys or something.. and do you know if Honda does the core exchange? thx.
Oh, last time I checked it was 269 for outer boots and 289 for both inner and outer boots, no axle swap. pretty penny if you ask me.

The axles cost me $52 each at pepboys & my rotors were $25 on ebay brand new.
$127.00 was just labor & a import shop down the street from my house
