AXLE REPAIR ON AN H22 ACCORD
I went to go pick up my paycheck today and as I was leaving the parking lot my front axle broke. A ball joint fell to the ground along with some other miscellaneous piece of metal. I had it towed to a local shop so I could not shop around for the best price. Anyways, I ended up paying 200 for a remanufactured front left axle and labor included. Did I get jacked? Should I have been able to get both left and right axles fixed? Please let me know whats up. Thanks.

Re: AXLE REPAIR ON AN H22 ACCORD (MugenAccordSedan)
well the axles cost about 75 a piece for remanufactured. labor at most shops is 60-80 an hour.
it takes me 1/2 hr to 45 mintues to do both axles.
*edit: it doesnt matter you have an h22, your using accord axles. you should be anyway.
