they are ractive racing seats that were custom upholstered with black and silver carbon fiber vinyl. the back seat is done to match. I used to have the interior dyed silver and black but when i found out the acura interior fit by fluke i changed it over.

I know they dont match but not everyone has the money to drop on new seats just so they match. I had two choices this year get the interior to match or swap in an H. Well i chose the H and i dont care about the seats at the moment.

The upper part is from the accord, and the lower part with the leather insert, is from the CL. He had to split it to make the door handle/lock assembly work or he would have had to purchase those parts for the CL too...(speaking from experience).

Re: (TheMuffinMan)
the wireing was the easy part...I gutted the orginal controls too the plugs off made a jumper harness ,had to change fan speed resistor to the transistor form a 01 civic as it was diffrent and the accord one was too big and the CL one didn't have the 4th wire , the climate controls are out of a 99 accord V6 I bascally cut the circut board in half! used my orginal mounts for the temp and fan speed and replaced the 99 accord ones it was about 18 month project soldering all the little wires and putting the 99 accord servos in ...
heres some pics of the controls before installing

Re: (CD7_Accord-SiR)
yes it's a old picture I took after swapping in the 6th gen gauge cluster ..been trying to put a 7th gen one in but it's such a nightmare as the everything on that car is databus even the fuel gauge uses it's own refrence signal!
I have a CL dash it's easy swap (direct for coupe) but pita for me as i have a sedan the CL has a darker grey then hondas, the problems your going to run into is the inside temp sensor it needs moving air for it to regulate the temp inside the car it hooks to the heatercore so you either have to drill into it or use a small fan like older legends ...as for the the thermostat in the evaporator the one in it can be used just unclip the black thermostat unit unplug the 3 pin short the in and out leave the blk/yel alone , cut the temp probe wire put a 2 pin plug as thats what the electronic unit needs ...and replace your resistor in the blowermotor unit with the CL one... wireing just get a mateing plug by gutting a climate control or gauge clusters uses the same green plug or if 96-97 just swap out the body harness ..

Re: (Conflicted)
The CL only had Slate Grey, Beige and a lighter grey I believe. I'm almost certain we dont have a black interior. I'm sure some pieces though are black or dark grey, thats what mine is. I wish we had a black interior, itd look a lot better then the grey I have.

All the dash swaps are cool. But the question is, will the sunroof from a CL fit in a 4dr Accord EX? I've been trying to find the measurements or see if anybody has successful found a way to add the tilt feature on the sunroof for the 5th gen. Having the tilt feature would be nice, but eh, I could take it or leave it.

awesome thread. i didnt know that there was this much interest in the CL interior. i hate mine to be honest. i actually prefer the more simple accord dash.
