Did you ever swap out your passenger side wheel bearing, or find some other solution?

My 2001 is doing the exact same thing. I am in the middle of replacing struts/axles/ball joints/wheel bearings/stabilizer links/tie rods and tires, then to Honda for an alignment.

These things needed replacing anyway, but I'm also assuming the noise goes away when I'm done. I have a new (used) transmission, the only thing left would be the carrier bearing (or intermediate shaft bearing, I guess it's called?)

Let me know what happened with yours, if you don't mind, the thread just sort of ended with no resolution... Thanks!

Uhhh.... you just resurrected a 13 year old post so I doubt you're gonna get a response from the OP (who hasn't logged in in 4 years) Just saying...

Ah, didn't notice the date. Still scrubbing the forum, apparently this noise happens a lot. Skipping to last pages of each to see what the solution is. Maybe a current viewer knows...

I actually had the new tires put on already, waiting for a few other parts to come in, including the bearings. But the noise is as loud as ever, so I can definitely rule out tires.

I put in new axles and new bearings (along with upper control arms, lower ball joints, strut assemblies, tie rods and rotors), noise is gone. So is shuddering under acceleration. After egr port cleaning and all this, it drives like a new car. Yokohama Ascents are really quiet too. At Honda now getting alignment.
