98 accord coupe speaker install help please
ok well i just got my first car, and the moron who sold it to me put alpine speakers up front, and left the back ones stock i know sounds retarded and it sounds retarded aswell... so i snagged a set of speakers on ebay and im gonna go pick up the wireing harness for easy mounting my problem is i cant get the plastic speaker covers up. anybody with anyclue how to do this would be great help. id prefer not to break them lol. thanks in advance for any help. oh and i searched on this topic and found no similar threads so if there is a thread about this and help would be great.

In my 98 accord sedan there were two bolts that had to be removed from the underneath of the grill. I'm pretty sure the coupe will be the same.

thanks a lot guys for help, i found them... there r about 4 on the right side and 3 on left. damn these speakers tho the tweaters r too big and stick out so i cant use the oem speaker covers so it looks kinda wierd but whatever not like i look back there anyways. id rather have some nice krisp alipine sound lol. and thanks again the help was great!

what a retarded comment, the plastic grill is held down by 3-4 phillip head screws, which could be removed from the bottem of the deck lid, look from under.
only the plastic grille is gone which would reveal the 4 8mm bolts.
