97 accord engine mount problems
I took my car in to get 2 new tires and they told me that it seemed like the engine mount on the lower front was cracked. i didnt have the cash then to fix it so i took it back today and they told me that upon further inspection they are all cracked, plus they said there is suspension damage. I have a few questions, 1st for the engine mounts and the suspension problem they said prolly 1300 is that a decent price? second would the fact that i have aftermarket 17 inch rims with low porfile tires have given me this problem? also being that the car is 10 years old and now with this problem should i seel it? i just put in leather seats a new stereo wih component speakers and a few other things. i am taking it monday to 2 other places to have it looked at for second opinions. (the car was in a minor front end colsion in 2005 but the body shop said they were fine then and had one of them replaced shortly before the accident. also i was told the car jumps when u put it in reverse. my accord always did that on cold startup from the day i got it. i thought the trans just had to warm up.
thanks for any replies!!

in my personal opinion sounds to me like your being put on sale to get royally shafted......I havent heard of an instance of all the motor mounts cracking??? I think there BSing youo...take it to someone you trust and have em give it a look...better yet do it your self.....motor mounts are not that hard to change 1300 is rape.....

yeah thats too much, the motor mounts might be ripped, but not cracked. as far as the suspension, yes pulse size rims (larger than stock) can cause those probs, but it is also normal wear and tear.it is up to you if you want to keep the car or not though
