Default 97 Accord Coolant Line?

I have a 97 Accord, 4 cyl, automatic, with 331,000 miles. It has CA emissions, but I'm currently in Virginia.
Can anyone identify this line? I think it's a coolant line. It's right in the center of Pix 1. PIx 2 is a close up of it. It starts out as a rubber tube that comes up off of a housing, it connects to a (rusty) metal tube that goes up and loops around to the left, then heads back down into another rubber tube and goes into the intake manifold. It looks like who ever installed it many moons ago over torqued the worm gear clamp on the lower fitting and now it's leaking some type of fluid (maybe antifreeze).
The housing the line originates from connects to the lower radiator hose.
Is this a coolant line?
Since it's late Saturday night, is there a replacement hose I can get from the local Advance Auto/Auto Zone on Sunday?
What type of hose, (fuel, transmission, high pressure)?
Is there a procedure for replacing it, like bleeding the system, if so, how?
It looks like there's a bleeder screw on the housing, but it's kind of rusty and looks like it's starting to round off (see pix 6).
Thanks!
John

Yes that is a coolant line. It goes from the thermostat housing up to the PVC air intake preheater (that is the set of rusty metal tubes) and then goes on to the bottom of the throttle body.

Use regular coolant hose of the same diameter. Yes you should top up and bleed your cooling system after replacing the line. You do not have to use the bleeder. if you feel that it may break just remove the rad cap, start the car and let it idle until the engine comes up to temperature. Adding coolant if the level in the rad drops below the neck of the filler. Once you start to see the coolant flowing (thermostat opens) give the large hose a squeeze, make sure to wear gloves it will be hot. This will help burp out any air in the upper rad hose.

Thanks for the reply and confirmation that its a coolant line. The local auto parts stores (Pep boys, Auto zone) don't carry coolant lines that small of a diameter. I have some left over hose I've successfully used on the transmission cooler lines. Maybe that will do until I can get something from one of the on-line Honda OEM parts sources.

Call autozone and see if they have "Dayco hose B86800" in stock - I think they carry dayco. The Gates number is "18020".

Will do. I put a piece of 5/16 Fuel line hose on it for now and I'll look for the Dayco or Gates.
Many thanks for the numbers.

I have to be up front.....if the hose you have on there now is holding.......call it a day. Keep an eye on it but if there are no leaks or "kinks" in the hose, leave it for another day.

Ok, I'll keep an eye on it. I notice you also have a 97 SE. Notwithstanding some of the muscle cars I owned in the 60's and 70's, this has been one of the best cars I've owned.

Yea, I have a small used car lot in my garage/driveway . Funny how the oldest car I have gets to stay in the garage and the others have to sit outside.
