95 accord sedan automatic 4 cy. hesitates in 1st gear?
Greetings, a little help please?
I have a 95 accord sedan automatic with about 194k miles. The car has actually been in my family since new, and had been well treated and garage parked for 20 years. It's not driven all the much these days, but about 3 years ago it had a large amount of work done to it, such as timing belt, water pump, and some other miscellaneous items. That's probably less than 2,000 miles ago...again, it's driven fairly regularly, but not driven all that many miles.
Anyway, lately I am noticing this 'symptom' where, right after startup, on the first acceleration, the engine bogs way down when you're trying to accelerate. That lasts like maybe 3-4 seconds, and then the car drives 100% normally. It doesn't always happen, and I've never seen it happen except on the first acceleration after startup.
There are no weird noises, nothing seems out of line, it's just that dramatic loss in RPM, but not always.
I also was starting to think that I'm getting worse gas mileage than I should be. I'm getting about 260-ish city miles before the gas light comes on, but on second thought, maybe that's about right.
I guess if it doesn't get worse, it's not a big deal, but I'm wondering what it could be and should I have it "looked at"?
Thanx dudes.

What kind of tuneup was performed? Air filter, fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, O2 sensor, etc.
Check the PCV system for clogs oil contamination, etc.
Have the EGR ports been cleaned? Sticking EGR valve may be gumming/gummed up but is only sticking when cold.
Check for any stored codes, blue two wire connector under the glove box door, pull out of orange holder, jumper with wire, turn ignition to II(ON) and observe any codes via the CEL/D4
