Trying to take out the rear seat in my 94 LX wagon I can get it loose but something is holding it back parts diagram shows it just pulling straight out just won't budge. Any advice?

Thanks, I found it in my vain attempt to look for an access hole to remove the fuel pump without dropping the tank. So tomorrow its time to drain the tank. Thanks to every one who responded to my plight.
