Default 94 Accord EX won’t run in the rain

I have a fair weather only 94 Accord EX, it will crank but not start in the rain or starts and dies in seconds. I had it in the shop for a month and they couldn’t find the issue. New parts include: EFI, Distributor cap, wires and plugs, ignition switch, fuel filter, ECU. I water tested the cap and wires on a sunny day with no stall, I have no idea what to try next. The CEL comes on only when it rains and is off on dry days. Help a girl out because I’m about to lose my mind lol.

If you are getting a CEL, what is the error code?

At this point, it does seem like you hit a lot of areas. Is there any water accumulating in the car? Like on the drivers seat or passengers floor?

Any squealing belts?

Do you have the splash guard in place for the engine?

Are you running a stock air intake?

Theres no leaks or water pooling on the floorboards as far as I can tell, all belts are good, stock air intake but new filter, not sure about the splash guard but it will stall while parked if it’s raining. I’ll run the error codes again since it’s gonna rain all week, but so far they’ve been odd codes, 9 & 14 I think. My gut says something is grounding out but I can’t put my finger on it

Consider trying a different TCU. Makes no sense, but it worked for me.

Error 9 points to distributor or at least a sensor in distributor. I think you are going to have to check the wiring to the distrib if you don't think the distributor is the issue. ECU is also the second most common fix for this issue normally. When you replaced the distributor, you put in a new ring seal?

Did you replace these parts or did the shop do it? Are you SURE the plugs and wires got replaced?

Ive had two cars with the EXACT problem. One had a couple of bad ignition coils and the other had spark plugs fouled with oil.
