92 accord, used stop leak and now car overheats.
pretty self explanitory my car had a coolant leak around the back of the thermostat housing where that pipe comes out and proceeds to run across the back of the block so i tried some bars stop leak and only used half the pellets like the bottle said for a 4cly, well followed the instructions and blamo it stopped the leak, but now coolant is not circulating through my engine, the top and bottom hose arent clogged, i removed the thermostat, its not clogged, when i removed bottom hose from the block it was full of fluid and it all ran out when i took it loose from the rad. and i even run water thro the rad, its not clogged, my only guess is that the stop leak jacked up my water pump? is that common in accords? or any common places for it to clog the system up? i need help i have new water pump anyway but if its not going to help then i dont want to change it just yet.

well i guess you learned your lesson. it is possible that it has either clogged the block, the water pump or other hoses. i guess since you have the pump, try it?!

aw man, that would have been so easy to fix too...there is an O ring that goes in between that pipe and the housing. Would have been like $2 and an hour of your time to fix it.

Did you start the car with the t-stat out? You say "i removed the thermostat, its not clogged"...did you throw it in a pan of water or spend the ~$5 on a new one? Worth a check before replacing the pump/t-belts/ect.
