Re: 6th gen H22 SWAP INFO.
Ok I'm new here so I'm gonna put my to sense in! I just started back on my 01 it's a work in progress I bought my swap from Osaka in Canada and it took about 7-10 days to get I had to pick it up from a shipping company that put the pallet on my truck it was all wrapped in a plastic just to give you an idea of the process! Ok it came with an LSD tranny nice and the motor was clean and I did a compression test and it was good , then I ordered a jap p28 cause it's easy to program and chip also a sub harness from (jdmshit) the engine and tranny was 2000 and the computer/w chip and harness was 290. This was a couple of yrs ago! Did the swap just like everyone else at the time (there where very little swaps at the time) I had a problem with the dr side motor mount after hearing some dum a-- ideas like weld an iron motor mount to an aluminum mount!!!! I had a friend that was an engineer for NASA yes NASA! He came by the shop and looked at it stood back bent down and then he said I got it, after looking at the side of the motor we grabbed the iron engine side of the motor mount (stock f23 mount) we went to the metal fabrication shop told the guy there to cut the loop or bar connecting the bottom to the top and notch the bottom hole (meaning he cut a small notch in the side of the bolt hole in the bottom of the mount) it cost me 25$!!! So we took it back to the shop and it fit like a glove all three bolts fit perfectly ! I'll have to get some pics up. Ok then some one told me online to go to your local truck or hydraulic line company , luckily there was one across town so I took my power steering line and the one that came with the motor ( make sure and this is very important since hydro line isn't very flexible, tape the f23 line in the same position as the prelude line when mounted on the engine together so the trucking place knows where to position the line and crimp it right ) that cost me 65$ not bad the new line will never brake it's made for truck hydraulics !!!!! Hope this helps so far it was an f-ing nightmare, just because there wasn't very much knowledge at the time ! You can see the car and the swap on YouTube under (tds) I'll post more on both next week! Jdmshit gave me the wiring diagram for obd1 and I just bought ad obd1 distributor. Also locash racing is a good site! Working on custom wide body now and I did a 5lug conversion if you notice in the video I did it for the volks! And just ordered tsx jdm headlights to convert the front to hid , if any one has done this please give me some customizing tips! Ohh and had to use a prelude passenger side cv axle the accord one pushed the suspension out! Hope this helped !

Re: 6th gen H22 SWAP INFO.
i meant to say you can check my car out on youtube under pekajew not tds! by the way does anyone know the wireing on the 6th gen accord coupe 5 speed to an h22a obd1? i finally found out how to check for engine codes there isnt a jumper harness plug the only plug is the obd2 scan port but youll have to jump it with a paper clip before you turn on the car! put the right side of the paper clip in the first hole or pin and the left in the 4th hole or pin from the bottom thats grounding the brown and black wire together! and youll have to look at the abs light not the engine light!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: 6th gen H22 SWAP INFO.
Its 2012 and Iam hoping you H22 guys are still around to help me out.
Ive got a 1999 Accord and would seriously like to install the H22a.. I've heard too many things that is enough to confuse me.
Some people are telling me the H22 type S wont work because it has ATTT ..others are saying you can get the H22 without ATTT.
I have also seen the H22A Accord Euro R (leaning toward this)
Will this also work for my 99 Accord?
By the way I have an automatic and would like to convert to Manual.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!... Some shops that sell the motors are telling me the H22A's from the prelude may need additional parts to make it fit in my Accord..others say no it bolts right on..
Everyone has different info, its confusing!

I just swapped the 98 accord with automatic tranny F23A1 to H23A used the JDM PCF ECU, engine harness that comes with a cut plug so I used the stock plug from F23A1 and I encountered the no crank, no start issue, I was thinking the key immobilizer? I checked the archived file for the issues but no luck. Please someone help me out?

Re: 6th gen H22 SWAP INFO.
I'm planning on doing this swap into my 2000 accord but im planning on using everything from the donor H22A type s, engine, atts trans, ecu, and wiring harness. My question is will there be an issue putting in an atts trans into a car that never had one to begin with? or should i focus on finding a euro accord type r and swap that in instead since its the same chassis basically, also my accord is auto and i want to convert it into manual so i figure I'm going to have to get 6th gen accord bits for that.
