2001 Honda Accord aftermarket headlight sticking out and gap
Today I installed Spyder Auto LED Halo projector headlights on my 2001 Honda Accord (Sedan). The passenger side headlight fit perfectly. The problem I had is with the driver side headlight. It is sticking out and there is a gap between the back edge of the headlight (where the turn signal bulb is or towards the driver door) and the side panel/bumper. My car has never been wrecked or has had any modifications to the body. I was hoping you all could help me fix this problem. I need to fix this as water can get in as you can see in the pictures. I appreciate the help.
Passenger Side Headlight ; Fits perfect

Driver Side Headlight. Here you can kind of see the gap and how the headlight sticks out
Driver Side Headlight. This shows the gap and how much it sticks out. The little black nubs from the headlight housing wont stay in the holes.

I believe the accord has the same tab in the fender as the civic that two plastic posts of the corner light fit through.
First thing is to be sure you got the posts in the two holes of the tab. The next thing is to be sure that tab is not bent forward an extreme amount.
Those would be my first two checks.
