2000 Honda Accord Automatic Temperature Gauge On High When Accelerate
Hi,
I have 2000 HONDA Accord V-6 Automatic. After adding more coolant & changing six spark plug, I'm facing issue in temperature gauge. It showing high when driving & accelerate. Please see the attached image & video.
Also after car turn off, the radiator fan keep on. Don't know why ? What could be the issue here ? Just want know what is the issue exactly before heading to mechanic shop (
Temperature high when driving
Temperature High before starting car
Mostly make fool and charge many bucks for small things too).

I fixed it. I mean called local mechanic and he fixed. The problem is my coolant was leaking everywhere from the Thermostat. Don't know why. But imminently identify the problem. He replaced the coolant & thermostat and problem solved. He charge me $40 Thermostat, $15 Coolant $60 labor.

Possibly overfilled by not refilling using proper steps. It seems like such a simple process, but if not done right, it can cause all kinds of problems. When your fan kept running, it was working as it is supposed to when there is still damaging heat in the engine block that can harm the engine even when the engine has been shut off. On an extremely hot day, after a long drive, especially stop & go driving, that fan may run after the key is off. Let it run as long as it needs to.
