I bought a 2000 accord ex, automatic, with 130k miles 1 month ago and it was ok until i bought it..


For the past 1 week, the great shift is not smooth.. It jerks if I keep accelerating and some times have to stop pressing accelerator and press it again...

This doesnt happen in 4th grear or above 40 mph..

This happens typically between 10 to 30 mph for first 2 gears i guess..

I thought I bought this for a good deal and I am not scared if its a transmission issue..

What usually is recommended for this? Transmission flush or whole transmission change???

I am scared to take to a mechanic since I am a young girl and he might look to earn ransome out of my problem...

your trans is going on ya ,that samething just happened to mines. i went and bought a 5sp trans from the junk yard and im gonna swap it over. i would do the same or sell it if i was you, have a friend who knows about cars to look at it
