2000 accord coupe vtec problem
hey noob here looking to learn i bought my accord about 2 months ago and my vtec never worked i checked it to try and make it work, i wired the Solenoid to a switch to manualy activate the vtec but it only works when the car isnt moving. when im at a stop and i rev at 6k+ and i turn on the switch i can hear the vtec clearly but if the car is moving it dosnt do anything. i tried normally accelerating and turning it on at 5k and 6k but it dosnt do anything then i rolled down a slope while not in any gear and rev'd the engine to 6k turned on the switch and nothing, as if as soon as the wheels are rotating it stops the vtec from working Can anyone help pls ?

Don't 'override' the PCMs control of VTEC activation.
Even if it 'thinks' somthing is fubar, don't force it to work. Because the PCM won't.
