1991 Accord SE, MYSTERY PROBLEM
First off, I'd like to say that this site has an incredible amount of knowledge on it. So kudos to everyone that made that possible.
Alright, when I turn my key to run I have no dash lights and it acts as though my battery is not even connected (which obviously it is). When I try to use(while the key is in the ON position) my signals and my wipers aren't working either.
Here is what I've Replaced/Checked so far..
-Ignition Switch
-Main Relay (driver-side kick panel)
-Blown IG fuse in the under-dash-fuse box.
-Replaced all blown fuses
-Swapped out the PT6-A50 ECU. (apparently this particular one is hard to find)
I'm not sure if this matter, but I could only find a PT6-A51 ECU out of a 91 accord EX.. :-/
-The wiring harness that goes from the ECU to the main fuse block looks good and has no noticeable burns or "fried marks"
-Ive checked about roughly 90% of all connections for continuity.
I've come to a dead end. If anyone knows what the hell I'm overlooking, or if you've encountered this ridiculous problem, please reply..
-Thank You

I would say it's a grounding problem also.
I once had this problem with a crx, turned out the main ground wire right from the battery was all full of the white powdery junk, making for a bad connection

the problem wasnt your old ecu most likely. check all your grounds. and check your battery. i know alot of guys who put batteries in that are either too big or they dont secure them. when they hit a bump or show off in the parking lot doing burn-outs the battery jumps into the hood and shorts all kinds of **** out. even starts fires sometimes and burns MAP sensors. is that youre problem? the battery too big or unsecured?
