1990 Accord EX
My two rear windows don't go up all the way, it probably about needs about half an inch to close completely. I've taken it to the shop and they didn't fix it.
Insullation???
When my car fogs up the fog gets really thick, much thicker than normal, the way it fogs on the inside is the way it should fog on the outside. It's watery on the inside and thin fog on the outside??? Maybe my AC system has a leak?
Anyone know of a rim cleaning solution, I've used a few but none get the job done. My allow rims still look stained?
My car runs great even though it's got 236k miles, so I don't wanna let go of it untill it breaks down. It's pretty clean too, I bought it of a girl that better care of her car than she did of her boyfriend.

When my 92 Accord window would not go up all the way. And I wasn't willing to pay over $200 for a new regulator. What I did was raise the regulator. First I measured the distance the window needed to go up all the way, then added a 1/4" to that measurement. Then I simply drilled three more holes, that distance higher, so the window would go up high enough. It worked like a charm, I sold the car three years later, and the window was still working fine. The only small drawback was the window would stop short, the same distance, of going all the way down into the door. I didn't consider that a big problem. Not a problem worth spending $210 on, that's for sure. Even if you end up having to get another regulator, you can just go back to the old, lower holes again.
