00 accord ex A/T problems
2000 Accord EX V6 3.0L with tranny problems. it originally had a hard/delayed upshift when accelerating, mostly only when slowing down then accelerating before a complete stop. drained the fluid and replaced with hondas fluid, had no issues after that.
Few months later, now I have 2 codes and the D4 light flashes. I've checked the codes P0730 and P0780, both said to test the solenoids. they all were in range for resistance and they all clicked when you give them power. drained the tranny n refilled wit hondas fluid reset comp test drove it same problem. any suggestions on what to do now? rebuid?

Did you check the wiring, too? For the solenoids to work, you need to get power to them (at the right time, of course) from the ECU.
Also, the solenoid valves could be moving when power is applied, but internal passages might be plugged so the pressure/flow might not be getting where it should. Are these solenoids mounted on the front exterior of the tranny housing? If so, you could remove the solenoids and inspect the fluid passages and filter screen.
Before you do start ripping into it, I would consult the Honda manual. If you don't have one, it's only about $60 from Helm. There's a troubleshooting procedure for each code and there are several or more things that could set a particular code.

ill check the wiring from the pcm to the solenoids. i pulled the torque converter clutch solenoid and shift valve a solenoid those 2 are 1 unit at the top pass side of tranny. cleaned the filters and sprayed cleaner thru them wit them open i can see the valve open n close when u cycle it. the others are in a spot where its a pain to take them off while the tranny is on the car. i have AllData basically the same thing as the manual, the diagnostic for those 2 codes only said to check resistance and make sure they click i did that the only other thing it says is to try a replacement but at 100-200 each cant go that route for sumthin that may not fix it. Also when i was going thru the gears after refilling the tranny to get new fluid into all the ports and get an accurate level shifting from 2nd into 1st it slams into gear same with 2nd into 3rd. would slipping clutch plates cause those codes?

Change the fluid and the solenoids. I've replaced my transmission a few times but going away from the Honda ATF and changing the solenoids out for new ones can make a big difference.
I cannot remember which ATF I used but I remember it was non something...sorry I don't remember the specifics but essentially it makes the transmissions slip less.
Good luck.

yesterday was my 2nd time changing the fluid using hondas fluid, ive read that these trannys were designed wrong n they like to break and that there very picky on fluid. and at 100-200 a solenoid i dont wanna buy new 1s to test cuz i could just buy a rebuild kit or used tranny for that much. the only tests hondas manuals say to do that i havent/cant do is test the clutch pressures. i know theres metal shavings on the magnet on the drain plug nothing major just tiny slivers, id assume thats normal, there were no chunks of metal or sludge in the bottom of the drain pan when i drained the fluid so i dont think the solenoids would have gotten clogged. any more suggestions on causes or fixes?

Re: 00 accord ex A/T problems
I purchased a 2000 SE with 181K [I4 ULEV] with no records. Notice after I received the car that 1st to 2nd lagged when cold and converter seemed to slip at lower lockup speeds, 42MPH and just above. Installed a Magnafine filter on return line and did 4X drain and fill with Valvoline Max Life Dex-Merc. Now shifts like new and much more positive shifts. Next I'll pull the solenoids to to clean the screens.
Have 5K on Dex-Merc and still shifts great. I did my research. will probably get flamed for using it. I really believe that the Honda ATF has too much friction modifier for super smooth shifts. That tends to kill clutches.
I plan to do drain and fill ever 15K when I change my Mobil1 extended service oil.
