majority of every forum out there, uses Vbulletin for message forum (proven/tested/works) and they just had to migrate from this no name message board, they are still ironing out the kinks, what about the new format don't you like?
I'm personally glad they switch, now when I get a PM from anyone, I won't lose it after X amount of days, I'll lose it when I'm damn well ready to lose it
also, preview a post is PART of the webpage and not a separate *** window like ZERO forum used, a lot more convenient when making sure your **** looks right before you post it

little update...
just picked up my new wheels. waiting for tires to come in. and ordering new coilovers next month.
pretty much downgraded wheels, but upgrading suspension, so it balances out haha
